Harper Construction Awarded Contract at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar

Harper Construction Company, Inc. has been awarded a design-bid-build contract to construct Aircraft Maintenance Hangar and F-35 Flight Line Apron Expansion in San Diego, California. The project, located on Marine Corp Air Station (MCAS) Miramar, will support the incoming F-35 aircrafts. The structural steel maintenance hangar will include a secure access program facility and cyber security commissioning. In addition to the hangar, Harper will complete an extension to the existing aircraft parking apron, including all associated airfield lighting, striping, and asphalt shoulders. The over 150,000 square foot project is set to be complete by the beginning of 2020.
